Stop it, both of you. John, George, knock it off. Really.
Stop using fear as a tool to get us to vote for you. George, stop getting your people to tell us the world is going to end if John is in charge. John ... stop getting your people to tell us the world is going to end if George is in charge.
Stop finding wedge issues to divert our attention from the things that really matter. No more swift boats. No more national guard. No more of who said what at a certain time and then did something else. You're both politicians, which means that you're both guilty of it. So knock it off.
Stop threatening to sue the pants off each other. Sit on your hands on Tuesday and just watch. Don't yack on TV, don't run nasty commercials during breakfast hoping to convince people to vote for you at lunchtime.
If I have to hear one more reason why John Kerry is a flip-flopping, yellow-bellied, France-loving liberal commie, or one more reason why George Bush is a fear-mongering, dim-witted, overbearing conservative nazi, I'm going to explode.
And I don't mean I'll burst out in angry fits. I'm there already. I mean my body will physically burst into flames and rapidly expand in a matter of split-seconds, taking with me everything in a 20-foot radius. I've thought about this.
It's struck me that the only voice we've heard over the last six months has been that of both of you and your "teams." So for one day (Tuesday), I want you both to just shut your pie-holes and let the American people do the talking.
